So, I forgot, COMPLETELY, about IJ. Which is... sad, because I have paid time here and yet never use it! *is a dumbass*
But when I remembered today about the shutdown (however temporary) of LJ, I was... slightly freaking out. Just a little. Because seriously. LJ has been the home of me since... oh god, 2001.
But here I am, having remembered IJ. I think I may go play with my icons. Add some new ones. I'd say I'll start moving my fic over, but uhm. whoops. Kinda can't get into LJ to move them over.
Okay, gma now decides that NOW is the time she wants to go to the store, even though I wanted to go like an hour and a half ago! So, I must be off. |

So, as usual, LJ seems to be on the verge of a breakdown, but this time, instead of the no posts for a day thing, maybe they should actually just convince everyone they can to move here. Or GJ. Or anywhere else! That would have more impact than what they're currently trying to do.
Anyhow, so, I'm setting this up as my fail-safe. I have (had?) one over at GJ but that seems to be on the verge of a different kind of breakdown, so here I am.
Eventually, I'll have moved all my fic over here to a fic comm or fic journal. :-) Debating on whether I should break out the "new" names I want, or if I should just stick with what I've got. We'll see.
Now I must go finish getting ready for work. :-/ Which I really don't want to go to, but if I want to afford things like paid journals, then I must work. |
